As a software developer, salesman and
implementer, a powerful file manager is a
must-have tool.
I've checked out many solutions, but
FileBoss wins by a mile for me and I now
have it loaded all the time. First, you are
not constrained to a 2-pane view, like many
of the competitors, as it has a tabbed view
(which can also be tiled to emulate the
2-pane products).
More than this, it has all of the features I
could ever possibly want in a file manager
and more... file searches and filters are
brilliantly executed, synchronizing folders
between my development machine and my laptop
is built in, the Command Bar lets me quickly
launch other apps, fast jump to folders (but
FileBoss also has bookmarks!), access a dos
window etc.., whilst retaining integration
with my existing context menu extensions
etc..
I like to think that I am good at learning
new software, but I am continuing to find
new features which delight me in FileBoss.
