By design FileBoss has a minimally intrusive install which doesn't copy anything into system folders and only installs one executable file, fileboss.exe, into an installation folder of your choice. The help files and several other, small support files are also put into that folder.
FileBoss does not install DLLs nor any other files to any system folder.
The only folders the setup program writes to is the folder you designate
(the usual default is Program Files\FileBoss), the Windows
designated application data folder, and to a data folder (the usual
default is My Documents\FileBoss Data).
And even then the number of files is minimal and the only executable is
FileBoss.exe and a small uninstall stub in the same folder.
No DLLs, ActiveX controls or any other executable code is put on your
computer except for small uninstall routines.
All registry entries created by the Setup Program are stored under one key and will be deleted if you run FileBoss' uninstall program and if FileBoss hasn't created any other files in the folders later.
FileBoss's executable and setup files are digitally signed insuring that you get the original files and that you know who wrote them
