Versions V3.101 and later, fix the problem. You can read more about this at the page
Windows Creators Conflict.
We have designed the license terms to be flexible, easy to understand and reasonable. These Plain English terms are meant to explain the license agreement but in all circumstances the official license terms is the legally binding license. These are merely explanatory comments. Please see the official license.
If you have any questions about licensing please contact sales at:
The single-computer, personal license allows you to install FileBoss on one computer for your personal or home office use. It is not valid for normal business use (other than in a home office).
If have purchased the whole-home license upgrade FileBoss may be installed on all computers in your single family home, including laptops and in a home office. For example if you, you spouse and three children all live in your house then FileBoss may be installed on all there computers and laptops for as long as they are living in the same house.
A business license is required by any business (except for home offices) installing FileBoss on their computers.
Multiple business licenses allow you to install FileBoss on the number of computers for which the license has been issued.
Example #1: if you install five computers shared by ten people then you only need a five user license.
Example #2: if you install FileBoss on one server and then load and run it twenty computers you will need 20 licenses (but this not advised since FileBoss will store some of its configuration data on the computer where it is run from so different users will be overwriting each others configuration and activity files.)
FileBoss is not licensed on a concurrent user basis. Concurrent user licensing is where the number of required licenses is calculated by the maximum number of users that will be using a program at the same time. Rather it is licensed by computer.
